The second guest lecture in a series of webinars organized by professors of the Institut de Recerca TransJus Universidad de Barcelona was held.

Lecturer: Mar Aguilera Vaques, Doctor of Laws, Professor of Constitutional Law (Professor Titular) at the University of Barcelona, Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School and the European University Institute in Florence.
Ms. Mar Aguilera has experience as an election observer for the EU, UN, OAS and OSCE. For over twenty years, she has participated in election observation missions in countries such as Egypt, Ghana, Sudan, East Timor, Venezuela, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Togo, Tanzania, El Salvador, Mexico, Tunisia, Bosnia.
Such a powerful experience made the professor's lecture really interesting, filled with many real examples. The emphasis was on the importance of monitoring compliance with election standards, documenting violations, and assessing the transparency of the process. The lecturer emphasized the importance of professional monitoring and documenting the facts of violations to protect the integrity of the election process.
