On May 6, 2025, the Department of Geodesy and Land Management hosted a guest lecture on the topic: "Land Dispute Resolution: Practical Cases and Modern Challenges."

During the lecture, Mr. Tretiak shared valuable practical experience in the field of land dispute settlement with the students. Real-world case studies were examined in detail, typical errors arising in the conflict resolution process were analyzed, and modern approaches to their effective resolution with the active use of powerful geographic information technology (GIS) tools were presented.

The lecturer placed particular emphasis on the key role of land management specialists in preventing legal conflicts in the complex and dynamic field of land relations. The importance of in-depth knowledge of land legislation, the ability to conduct high-quality land management work, and the use of modern GIS for the analysis and visualization of land data, which is an important tool for making informed decisions and preventing disputes, were underscored.

The event sparked lively discussion and active participation from students, who had the opportunity to ask the lecturer questions and receive qualified answers. The lecture contributed not only to deepening theoretical knowledge but also to expanding the practical understanding of the complex issues of land law in the context of constant changes in the regulatory framework and the rapid development of technology.
