At Sumy National Agrarian University, a panel discussion was held between students and the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko. The event was also attended by representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and students from various faculties, including the Faculty of Law.
Participants had the opportunity to discuss pressing issues of concern to young people: access to education, employment opportunities, support for universities affected by the war, and the development of border regions. Special attention was paid to topics related to legal regulation, civil rights, and the creation of conditions for the implementation of student initiatives.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of such meetings and noted that it is young people who shape the agenda for the country’s future. For law students, this event was not only an opportunity to ask questions and receive answers firsthand but also an example of how active civic engagement contributes to the development of a democratic society and the strengthening of legal values in Ukraine.
This meeting demonstrated that legal education is closely connected with the practice of state-building, and that the voice of the student community matters in the decision-making process.
