Lecturer: Ivan Kravchenko, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Administrative and Information Law of the SNAU

Target audience: students of the I and II levels of higher education in the specialties: 081 Law, 293 International Law, 232 Social Security, III level of higher education in the specialty 081 “Law”, the teaching staff of Sumy NAU, VSP “Sumy Professional College of SNAU”, VSP “Putyvl Professional College of SNAU”, the structure of SNAU subdivisions.

During the lecture, Ivan Aleksandrovich emphasized the main legal principles of the lawyer’s activity, outlining the requirements of the legislation, the structure of professional standards and the features of the regulation of the legal profession in Ukraine. Considerable attention was paid to ethical principles – independence, confidentiality, integrity and respect for the rights of the client.

We learned about the typical challenges that lawyers face in their daily practice: from ethical decisions in complex cases to ensuring a balance between the client’s interests and the requirements of the law.
