The Faculty of Law of Sumy National Agrarian University has signed a cooperation agreement with the public organization “Young Lawyers’ Council”. This partnership opens up new opportunities for students who are taking their first steps in law.
The cooperation agreement, which opens up wide opportunities for law students, was signed by the rector of SNAU Ihor Kovalenko and the chairman of the Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine Yevhen Kotorobay. The signing of the agreement was attended by the dean of the law faculty Oleh Rogovenko and private lawyer, associate professor of the Department of Private Law and Social Security Valentyna Nezhevelo. The main goal of the cooperation is to combine the theoretical training of students with the practical skills necessary for a modern lawyer. Within the framework of the partnership, joint events are planned: trainings, master classes, legal discussions, participation of students in legal education projects, simulation of court hearings, as well as involvement in internships and volunteer initiatives.
Representatives of the NGO “Young Lawyers’ Council” will become mentors and professional guides for students: they will help shape an individual development trajectory, develop skills in legal communication, legal writing, and public speaking.
The cooperation of the Faculty of Law of the SNAU with the NGO “Young Lawyers’ Council” is a step towards strengthening the practical component of training, developing the legal community of the region, and supporting young people who have chosen law as their profession.
