Prof. of International Relations Department, Law Faculty (Ukraine), Senior Lecturer HR Business School University of Hertfordshire, (United Kingdom))

Topic: “Student’s success: a long story of Cinderella from Sumy National Agrarian University to wild success at the University of Chicago”. Practical issues regarding the preservation of students’ human and social capital in the context of educational process management will be revealed. Julia will share her own experience of how the knowledge acquired in Ukraine brought a huge success in further studies abroad at the Master’s course “International Law” at the University of Chicago – United States of America.
Julia: Graduated from “International Law” in 2023. While studying at SNAU. Yulia joined the SNAU team, and participated in the national and international moot court competitions for two consecutive years in 2021 and 2022, as the team’s youngest member. In the second year of participation in the team, Yulia gained trust and leadership among students and coaches, so she became the team captain. It was that very time when SNAU’s team entered the finals – the 17 strongest teams in the world among 122, which took place offline in May 2022 in Strasbourg. In 2024, Julia completed the master’s “US Transnational and International Law” degree at the Chicago Kent College of Law – United States of America. Today, Yulia works as an assistant attorney in the pre-litigation department in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
