Speaker: Julia Datsenko, graduated from “International Law” (Hons) SNAU in 2023, completed the master’s “US Transnational and International Law” degree at the Chicago Kent College of Law (the USA), currently working as an assistant attorney in the pre-litigation Department in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Julia Datsenko shared her experience studying at the Master’s course in Transnational and International Law at Chicago Kent College of Law in the USA, spoke about the opportunities for Ukrainian students abroad, shared her vision of what can be adopted from the American teaching system for teachers as well as for students, and shared the challenges she had to face while working as an assistant attorney in the pre-litigation department in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Special attention was paid to discussing the main qualities that Yulia acquired at SNAU, and thanks to which she managed to become one of the active students in the stream in the USA. Invaluable in this interview were the speaker’s advice to the Ukrainian community, how artificial intelligence and the latest technologies will affect the further development of the legal profession, and what will contribute to the preservation of human and social capital in a turbulent environment.
During the meeting, the participants asked speaker Julia Datsenko interesting questions and at the same time thanked Nataliia Klietsova for the presented modern “lecture-interview” approach of delivering the speech.
