On December 25-26, the Department of Geodesy and Land Management at Sumy National Agrarian University hosted the defense of master’s theses by students majoring in Geodesy and Land Management (specialty 193). Graduates presented a wide range of research focused on current issues of land use and management in modern conditions.

The topics of the defended works included:

Optimization of land resource utilization: graduates developed proposals for the rational use of land plots, particularly in agriculture and industry.

The impact of military actions on land use: students studied the consequences of hostilities on land resources and proposed methods for their restoration.

Innovative technologies in land management: graduates demonstrated their ability to work with modern geographic information systems and other tools for data analysis and map creation.

Environmental aspects of land management: students paid attention to the issues of preserving natural resources and the rational use of land.

Land relations: graduates studied the legal aspects of land use, including issues of land relations transformation and land valuation.

The qualification works of the students reflect a high level of professional training, as well as the relevance and practical value of their research. The presented topics are aimed at solving urgent problems of land use, optimizing territorial management, introducing innovative technologies, and ensuring the sustainable development of Ukraine’s agricultural sector.

The defense of qualification works confirmed that graduates of the specialty 193 “Geodesy and Land Management” are ready to solve complex tasks in their professional field, contributing to the development of both the region and the country as a whole.
