Lecturer: Symon Radchenko – PhD, Geoinformatics, archaeologist, literary critic. Expert in photogrammetry and digital technologies in archaeology. Co-author of the “Archaeology” projects. Target audience: applicants for I and II levels of higher education in the specialty G18 “Geodesy and Land Management”, teaching staff of the Faculty of Law of the SNAU. During the lecture, an overview of modern 3D technologies and their significance for archaeology was considered in detail: how and why we create three-dimensional models of monuments and artifacts, what tasks it helps to solve, and why it is important for the scientific study and preservation of archaeological heritage.
