The Department of Geodesy and Land Management held the defense of qualifying bachelor's theses of 4th year students of specialty 193 "Geodesy and Land Management" of full-time and part-time forms of study.
In their works, higher education applicants considered a wide range of modern issues, including:
Inventory of agricultural and non-agricultural lands, establishment and change of boundaries of administrative-territorial units, change of purpose of land plots; analysis and development of the agricultural and non-agricultural land market, use of geographic information systems (GIS) in land management and geodesy, application of satellite geodesy in engineering surveys, ecological and landscape planning in conditions of sustainable development, cadastral provision of land transactions, control over compliance with land legislation in conditions of martial law.
The defense took place in an open format with a demonstration of presentations, graphic materials and analytical maps prepared using modern software: QGIS, AutoCAD, Digitals.
The commission noted the high level of preparation of the applicants, the relevance of the topic and the practical value of the presented materials. Considerable attention was paid to the integration of the latest digital technologies into the professional activities of a surveyor and land surveyor.
