During the event, students prepared informative presentations dedicated to the analysis of terrorist threats in various countries:

USA – The events of September 11, 2001, were reviewed, when almost 3,000 people died as a result of a series of terrorist attacks, which was the impetus for the formation of a new international security system.

France – The events of 2015 were analyzed, particularly the attacks on the editorial office of Charlie Hebdo and the Bataclan theatre, which demonstrated the vulnerability of democratic states to the threats of extremism.

Ukraine – The manifestations of state terrorism by the Russian Federation were outlined, including the shelling of peaceful cities, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, and crimes against the civilian population.

Other countries of the world – Examples of the activities of terrorist organizations “Taliban” in Afghanistan, “Boko Haram” in Nigeria, and “Islamic State” in the Middle East were given.

Special attention was paid to defining the concept of “terrorism” and related categories, as well as discussing the main causes of this phenomenon and mechanisms for its prevention.

The meeting was held in a meaningful and productive atmosphere, contributing to the formation of civic consciousness, critical thinking, and an understanding of the role of international cooperation in ensuring global security among students.
