At the Department of Geodesy and Land Management of Sumy National Agrarian University, second-year students of the “Geodesy and Land Management” program successfully defended their course papers in the дисципліна “Geodesy.”
The course papers were completed on the topic “Adjustment of Survey Traverses. Tying Survey Traverses to Geodetic Network Control Points.” In the process of completing the assignments, the students demonstrated knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geodetic measurements, methods for processing observational data, as well as practical skills in adjusting geodetic networks.
During the defense, special attention was paid to the justification of the chosen adjustment methods, the accuracy of the obtained results, and the correctness of tying survey traverses to the points of the state geodetic network. The students confidently presented their calculations, explained the stages of their work, and answered questions from the instructors.
The completed course papers confirmed the development of key professional competencies among the students, particularly the ability to work with geodetic data, perform their mathematical processing, and ensure the required accuracy of geodetic constructions. The knowledge and skills acquired form a solid foundation for further study of professional disciplines and practical activities in the field of geodesy and land management.
