Students of the “Geodesy and Land Management” program at Sumy National Agrarian University, Vitalina Lytvynenko and Daria Velykorod, have successfully completed international training and received certificates of participation in the workshop-webinar “Sustainable Development of Renewable Energy: Economic, Managerial, and Technological Aspects.”

During April 6–10, 2026, the students took part in an international educational event dedicated to modern aspects of renewable energy development, including technological, economic, and managerial approaches to the implementation of energy solutions. Upon completion of the program, they were awarded certificates equivalent to 1.5 ECTS credits.

It is particularly important that the knowledge gained has direct relevance to their future professional activities in the field of geodesy and land management. Issues related to the placement of renewable energy facilities, assessment of land resources for their operation, analysis of the economic feasibility of land use, and ensuring sustainable community development are closely linked to spatial planning and land management practices.

The competencies acquired during the training contribute to shaping a modern specialist capable of working at the intersection of geoinformation technologies, land use economics, and environmental management. This is especially relevant in the context of Ukraine’s territorial recovery and the implementation of sustainable development principles.

The obtained certificates confirm the high level of students’ training, their active participation in the international educational environment, and their commitment to professional growth.

We sincerely congratulate Vitalina Lytvynenko and Daria Velykorod and wish them further success in their studies, research activities, and professional careers!
